Beginner Cross-Country Trails on the Seefeld Plateau
Blue Trails
A1 - Nachtloipe
This is the easy route in the flat area to the south of the Seekirchl near
the start of the Seefeld cross-country skiing trails. "Nachtloipe" means
"night trail" in German, and this trail is also illuminated for evening
skiing on weekdays.

A2 - Lenerwiese
This is the easy route around the Golf Academy grounds on the other southern
edge of Seefeld.
Length: 2km

A3 - Torfstich
This is a very flat and short trail near the Wildmoos above Seefeld.

A4 - Muggenmoos
Another short trail between Mösern and the Leutasch valley near the hamlets
of Buchen and Moos.

A5 - Obern
This is one of the longer beginner trails over in the Leutasch valley at the
base of the Hohe Munde in some lovely scenery.

A6 - Alpenbad
This trail connects onto the previous one to make a route of 10km if preferred
and runs between Obern and Weidach around the river.

A7 - Gasse
This trail is located in the flat area of field between Kirchplatzl, Weidach
and Gasse at the base of the Gehrenspitze. It can connect onto the previous routes or
the A9 to make a much longer
beginner-level trail.

A8 - Lehner
This is a short beginners' trail for those trying out the classic cross-country
skiing techniqhe just behind the hamlet of Lehner.
Length: 1.5km
Style: Only classic
A9 - Unterleutasch
This long loop trail runs from Ahrn through the lower Leutasch valley almost
to the border with Germany, with fabulous and varied scenery. It can be broken
at various points and there are several bus stops along the way.

A10 - Weidach
This short trail can be used by those staying in the main Leutasch village of
Weidach to connect from their front doors into the trail network, or for beginners
to practise close to home.

A11 - Bodenalm
Back to the Seefeld side of the plateau - this trail runs from the Bodenalm
hut
through to the road at the southern edge of the hamlet of Giessenbach and joins
the blue trails from Scharnitz.
Length: 7km

A12 - Scharnitz
This is the mixed-style route connecting through to Scharnitz and the border
with Germany.
Length: 6.5km
Style: Classic or skating
A13 - Scharnitz Klassik
This is a variation on the above route for classic-style skiers through the woods
above Giessenbach
which rejoins the A12 after the hamlet.
Length: 3km
Style: Only classic
A14 - Bärenwirt
Back over to the lower Leutasch valley again and this is the closest short
loop to the German border.
