The Reither Almbahn is one of the two new chairlifts on the Härmelekopf side of the Rosshütte ski area. The six-seater chair takes guests up to a point just below the top of the Härmelekopf cable car. The red run down from the top of the chair avoids the trickier section at the exit from the cable car - even so it is one of Seefeld's harder runs. There are beautiful views from here out over the surrounding mountains towards Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
The Hochanger chairlift rises from the base of the Rosshütte ski area and provides an alternative area to ski - useful when the Rosshütte mountain railway and the Brandl draglift are busy. The run from the top of the chairlift is marked as an easier slope but snow conditions can make it seem harder than its blue grade. An alternate route from the top heads down to the Reither Alm mountain hut and then back along a path to the main piste.
